Wow already July!?
I barely made it to 1130 class after getting my hair done today! We had a playful class today and did a diaper party for a couple gals that are due on the next couple of months, lots of fun.

My mile time was 8:13, would have been faster if not for my damn cramps. I lowered the var dose to 10mg split to see if it would make any noticeable changes so I will give it a few days to test it out. Also because of the diaper party we made the wod a partner workout where we would take turns doing rounds and while waiting the other would be holding a medicine ball (a baby). When we had 3 minutes left on the clock my partner heard the ice cream truck and abandoned me lmao. She bought the whole class ice cream though haha! Guess what I chose?
Anyway hair had me feelin good 😃

I’m off to camp for Fourth of July so I’ll be gone until Monday! Gonna just try and stay active out there and not be a TOTAL fatass lol. Wish me luck. Have a safe holiday weekend yall!

That is an impressive update. Keeping your mile time around 8 minutes even with cramps is a great accomplishment. @mandy1911

Now? No idea. I couldn't tell you the last time I ran anywhere. I do speed walk if the mood takes me. That I can do a mile in about 10-12 minutes

Back in the day 6 minutes to 6.15 running. I was running 6-7 days a week (2 miles to work) inc 2 x on a Wednesday and (another 2+ in the evening) a 10km Sundays

yeah make sure if you try to run it, you don't have a stroke.
 
An eight-minute mile is still good even with the cramps. @mandy1911 that shows that you're in really good shape. A lot of guys in the gym can't even come close to that.

Hi!
Great few days off out camping but I was ready to be back in the gym today! I went in early and did some leg work:
Rear foot elevated split squat 4x8 35lb dumbell
B stance hip thrust 4x8 155lbs
I warmed up really well on the bar because we were practicing muscle ups today. The workout was as follows:

I did my first ever spotted muscle up! Coach spotted me for 5 for the fist set, second set we did 4 and then the last set I did the 9 with a box. Slowly but surely! I really wanna get this skill! Hope everyone had a happy and safe fourth!

Good workout today! Went in early and practiced my hand stand walks then I went into:
3x10 strict dips
3x12 barbell evil wheel
After that I hit the workout:

I did the rx weight for the push press and for the double unders I practiced. I finished one round plus 227. Almost got one full set of 50 in a row! Yayyy! Later on in the day I went to run club. I’ve been off var for 2 days now and my shins still cramped to shit and left me wanting to die 🤡. Supposed to be doing a hyrox in a week and a half. Send halp.

Well guys the heat is starting to really act up. 90s all week and man it shows ughhh. I went in early and worked on my muscle up skills and double under skills for about 1.5hrs. Then went into the workout and it was rough.

Coach wanted me to keep the rx weight for the overhead squats but lower reps. So I did 16,12, 8 for the rep scheme for the squats and the toes to bar and then kept the reps the same for the burpees. My final time was 16:35. This workout was absolutely killer and by the time we hit it the temp was high and it def felt HOT in the box. Got it done though and then foam rolled a ton and used the Thera gun on my calves. Hyrox day tomorrow at the gym so we will see how my shins hold up lol.
