Why do plant based proteins from hemp, spirulina, and pea proteins etc taste more bitter but at the same time they don't upset my stomach like regular protein? And don't say it is because of the dairy because I use isolate and plus I drink milk and don't have any issues. there has to be more to it than that.

Plant based protein is way easier on stomach and less bloat. I get a lot of bloat from whey and none from pea protein.
 
to be specific vegan protein powders are geared to more of a healthier population so they won't add the artificial sweeteners and other garbage found in regular protein powders.
 
They are not dairy so they will likely not upset your stomach because of that. And they are just a different food so of course they will taste different. I still recommend getting your protein from real food as much as possible and not from protein powders.
