UPDATE: GOOD NEWS!

Liver tests NORMAL!!

In the last month, I lost 10 lbs of fat, yes, definitely fat, ate clean as a whistle, stopped all SARMS, stopped N2Gaurd and only took my TRT, Vitamin E, TUDCA, fish oil, N2SILNx, multi-vitamin and tons of black coffee (BTW black coffee is beneficial to your liver) and my levels are:

ALT - 50
AST - 38

So relieved. I have a follow up blood test in a month and in two months they will do another ultrasound of my liver.

After a ridiculous amount of research and data, I am 100% convinced the liver issues were directly caused by the SARMS I ingested and a diet that was not as clean as it could have been.

Lesson: Orals, regardless of what they are, can be toxic to your liver. Always protect it!

NOTE: Despite this experience, there is a very good chance I will take SARMS again, but in a more controlled and regulated fashion. But not for a few months at the very least. I need to get the 100% ALL CLEAR before taking any orals again.

I will update this thread when I have my next test.

Now...onto my knee surgery...that I had last week! LOL Not joking. Horizontal tear in my lateral right meniscus back in November. They scoped it last Wednesday and trimmed the lateral meniscus and found the medial meniscus was frayed again and trimmed that as well. Been working on my range of motion and have to say this recovery is twice as positive as my last two scopes. I have high hopes for a quick turn around.


Still paying for the sins of my youth! lol

I would like to see if you're on TRT now, you doing TRT? you training? dieting? whats the situation

Yes...I am officially on TRT now and getting everything dialed in.

.03ml 200mg/ml test cyp 2X per week and
.5mg anastrozole 1x per week

I was doing .4ml 2x/week but my test levels were around 1250 so we dropped it and my estrogen level was way too high, hence the AE

Been on the new dose for 3 weeks and feeling much better, in that morning wood is strong and I feel great

Training:
Since I am 7 days post surgery, I am taking training slow. Still getting in solid sessions on upper body, but no lower body strength training and I am watching my legs shrink before my eyes. It's mentally painful, but I know muscle memory all too well to get too caught up in it.

Once I get the sutures out Monday, I can start my PT and it will be as aggressive as possible while intelligently execute with humility. The last thing I want to do is cause a new injury.

As of this moment, I am far and away ahead of where I was the last time I had this done. Getting scoped is not that big a deal. Just grateful I never had tendon issues. That is a different ballgame altogether.

Diet:
My diet is clean as can be. I bought a Pit Boss pellet smoker a while back and it make the best grilled/smoked chicken breast I ever had.

Breakfast - Steel cut oats, sliced almonds, chia seeds, almond milk and a scoop of hydrolyzed whey - every day

Lunch - Eating two family packs of chicken per week in daily lunch salads (pecans, red onion, red peppers, feta cheese, avocado, grape tomatoes, olive oil and vinegar)

Dinner - usually venison, salmon or chicken with a high fiber veggie and salad

Snacks are all over the place in terms oof variety

Cut out all processed foods of any kind (except the whey protein), not even for a cheat meal.
Everything is fresh made

At least a gallon of water daily

Rough macros:
210 grams of protein
200 grams carbs
60 grams of fat
 
I think bad diet can cause liver damage
Over the last two months I have learned more about liver function than I ever wanted to know. You are 100% right...poor diet can absolutely cause liver stress and worse NAFLD (non-alcoholic fatty liver disease), which is where you carry more visceral fat than normal and it collects around the liver, more or less.

While on SARMS last year, my diet was not bad, but it was not as clean as it could have been. This plus the SARMS sent my liver values high and into NAFLD, but for now, it seems to be reversed.

Lessons I took away:
  1. eat clean AF when on any oral
  2. Keep my SARMS cycles no more than 12 weeks - I stayed on MK677 a lot longer than that because many people stated I could use it long term. Again, not knocking that advice, because everyone is different. Maybe the masses can do that, but I now know I cannot.
  3. Take Vitamin E, TUDCA and drink black coffee while on cycle - not saying I won't take N2Gaurd going forward, but for me it did not seem to do much.

@Maverick602 I like your diet it seems clean but would like to see actual meals how much you eating etc

can you post your reps sets for what you can do? like whats your training like many want to see older guys post surgery and how training is going
