Approved Log Mav's Liver Log

I appreciate everyone's comments and support. This log will be a slow burn as I wait for results and formulate a plan of attack.

The latest test results are trickling in, but a few tests will take at least another week to complete.

Right now, I am doing meal prep twice a week, Sunday and Wednesday (because I find food quality declines to the point I don't want to eat it come Thursday. Keeping it simple"

DIET:

Breakfast:
Overnight Oats:
mixed with almond milk, almond slices, chia seeds and a protein shake. Topped with a 2/3 cup blue berries

Lunch (every day. I love salads and never get tired of this one)
Daily salad:
Spring mix
avocado
pecans
feta cheese
red onion
red peppers
10 oz of grilled chicken breast
Olive oil and balsamic

Afternoon/ Post workout snack:
Protein Shake or tuna and rice

Dinner:
8 oz chicken, venison or salmon
roasted veggies (usually Brussel sprouts, broccoli, and/or rice)

Evening snack:
protein bar or casein shake

220 gr protein
180 grams net carbs
40 gr fat

Still waiting on my lab results. The freaking lab sent my endocrinology bloods to my hepatologist and vice versa. Trying to get that straightened out.

In the meantime, my daughter brought home the worse stomach virus on the planet last week and I got tagged Sunday. I was laid out Sunday night through Wednesday morning with a fever and the shits. The good news is a lost 12 lbs!! The bad news is I still can't eat much and I have not trained since Friday and I can feel the atrophy.

My youngest daughter now has it and my wife is probably next.

Little kids are germ factories. It is what it is.

I will post the labs once received.

OK Bros... bad news.

My liver enzymes continue to rise so I am stopping the Cardarine GW 501516, all OTC supplements except (TUDUCA, Vitamin E & multi vitamin) until I correct the liver issues. I am also seriously considering coming off of TRT so that I have a firm baseline of ZERO potential toxins in my system.

(Pre-cycle Liver values) March 2022
ALT – 32
AST – 18

Routine bloodwork October 15th was abnormal
ALT – 53
AST - 44

January 4th and it was abnormal again.
ALT – 67
AST – 43 (dropped a point)

March 7th
ALT - 86
AST - 65


NORMAL RANGE
ALT 7-52
AST. 13-39


Looks like my PED days have ended for a while.

I have a doc appt in a week to review the other tests and will circle back with more feedback at that time. I do not have enough information to jump to any conclusions yet, but I would be lying if I did not admit that I am a bit scared.

Never had any health problems until now.

UPDATE:
Spoke with my Liver doc and endocrinologist today and both agreed I can stay on TRT, as it is most likely not causing the liver issue.

They also both agreed that while elevated, the levels are still nothing to get worried about, but that I should continue to eat a clean diet.

My test level is 1250 so it is too high for TRT and my estrogen level is 'far too high', but he did not tell me what it is. (I will find out) This would explain the lack of morning wood lately. Oddly enough, I do not have any other high estrogen symptoms...no water retention or puffy nips.

He is going to prescribe anastrozole to decrease my estrogen levels and I have to drop my test dose to .2ml for three weeks and retest.

My liver doc asked for a list of all my supplements to review and assess. I provided the entire list.

Did not mention the Cardarine GW 501516 for obvious reasons, but I definitively decided to stop taking it until the liver issue is reversed.

I will check back in when I have more details.

I heard you were starting N2guard did you start it already or just starting it now?

Btw having high ALT AST on cycle can happen, I would not panic with it to be honest.
 
i wonder what you're eating and how training if you overtrain alt/ast UP
