Advice Needed -High blood pressure and PED Cycle prep

Hey everyone,

I'm turning 47 tomorrow and I'm seeking advice on how to get my blood pressure under control. I've been off PEDs for a while now and have been consistent with my workouts.

When I got off PEDs last time, my blood pressure was elevated. I ran N2Guard to help with that. Currently, I have an energy drink daily (not excessive caffeine) and I have beer every few weeks (sometimes more frequently).

I know I need to eliminate alcohol altogether, which I'm willing to do. However, I need advice on how to lower my blood pressure further. I want to be in a position to run another cycle, but I need to have my blood pressure under control first.

Blood pressure issues run in my family, so I'm taking this seriously. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Really frustrated!

It starts with diet. Eliminating as much processed crap as you can. Assuming you don't smoke. I won't get into the different dietary choices that help as there is a wealth of knowledge out there. I will say spinach has certainly helped me. Supplement wise...potassium and magnesium. I wouldn't worry about 2-3 cups of coffee/espresso. Same with a few beers every couple weeks as you state. I would suggest low dose 5-10mg of tadalafil per day. Outside of all this...your personal situation from a stress situation is huge (job, relationships, conflict). There is unfortunately no silver bullet...more of a holistic approach.

When you say you ran n2guard, what dose did you use? and what was your BP?

To be honest with you, if you're on cycle its hard to control bp and diet is key as well. Depends on your diet and cardio and training, this is why we keep asking you to start a LOG asap. If you start a log we can actually help you make changes and clean it up so you can drop the BP.
Just imagine us saying "CUT this ___" to lower BP but we dont even know what "this" is lol :p right? think about it.

Thats why we need to see a log especially you're 175/120! thats nuts.

Its easy to start and get going, add your diet training lifestyle supplements and liquid intake and sleep

How's the diet - not mentioned and cardio too?
 
First off, I'm very proud of you for taking this seriously.
A lot of people don't even pay attention to their blood work.
 
Can you go back and Trace the event, which started your high blood pressure issues.
Once you've figured that out, you'll know what triggered the issue, and then you can kind of correct it from there.
 
If I was you, I would do a vegetarian diet for a couple weeks.
That will help a lot. I've done it before.
 
It's definitely a good idea to put up a log.
Will be able to push you along and help you improve yourself.
 
High blood pressure is definitely a silent killer.
If you're going to get older and you're going to use steroids, it's probably a good idea to get on some type of medication through a doctor.
 
I would go see a cardiologist and have them run some testing on you.
You may have some blockages That can lead to problems later on.
 
Definitely use a doctor and all, so use this forum for a log.
Lots of different ways to help with your blood pressure.
 
Most steroid users are going to run into these types of problems.
The difference is that you actually want to fix it which I respect.
