Alternate injection sites

I've been pinning in my vastus lateralis since i started TRT in JAN. I am comfortable using this site for IMs, but think i should look long term and start rotating to other areas. what areas do y'all recommend, any problems injecting through tattoos, and any areas to avoid? thanks

im covered in tattoos, thats not an issue... my favorite site is ventro gluteal

Never had problems injecting through tattoos but you should rotate sides for sure. You should rotate left glute, right glute, left shoulder, right shoulder.

I tend to use long esters and just rotate glutes and delts which gives be 4 spots. That is the minimum I would do if you were running a cycle. For just TRT, if it was me, I would just rotate glutes if you are doing weekly injections.

will do; gotta say i was surprised how the delt pin was very smooth even though it's a little awkward to do with one hand.

I like pinning delts and glutes, rest too painful

I cant aspirate if I pin my delts. To much coordination. My sisters a PA and in my state you are actually not supposed to aspirate delt injections. I switched to quads though and I have no issue with one site twice a week

I'm new to this so no time for scar tissue to build. I use a 25 gauge needle. She said no aspiration when administering delt injections


I'm sure there is protocol for all sorts of sizes and ages.

i don't aspirate at all and haven't had any problems in my thigh over the last 11 months...just pinning my other delt, no aspiration, and it was pretty smooth. i'll probably pin my delts for a bit and then add in my glutes and then rotate from there. how do you know if scar tissue has built up??

You can crack and snap when you inject.
